Overview

Role Description

 

The HR manager will be responsible for overseeing HR management, labor and employment law compliance, developing HR policies, driving a high-performance culture and managing employee relations on a day-to-day basis.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the people strategy implementation, driving engagement and open communication to maintain a positive people culture.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering continuous learning and building a high-performing team capable of supporting and implementing our goals.
  • Lead and empower a team of HR professionals, driving their success, while increasing the team’s capabilities.
  • Oversee HR systems and workflows to ensure data accuracy, effective and compliant record-keeping, accurate and timely attendance and benefits processing, operational efficiency, and adherence to HR regulations and policies.
  • Cultivate a positive workplace culture, enhance engagement, and champion diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Work to create a seamless employee experience.
  • Track industry best practices related to key HR processes, evaluate and improve existing practices to ensure we are continuously improving and evolving.
  • Drive a high-performance culture through solid performance management practices, partnering with and coaching Leaders to address performance challenges.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Human Resources (HR) Management experience and Employee Relations skills
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Labor and Employment Law
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and manage HR initiatives effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
