Overview

Uniquely are seeking an experienced data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics and will play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights to support decision making. You’ll work closely with cross functional teams to analyse trends, build dashboards and uncover opportunities for improvement.  As Uniquely expands, the responsibilities will evolve and change over time. The core responsibilities will centre around the following areas:

 

Data collection and Analysis

  1. Collect, clean and analyse sales data from various sources (PSI & SIRIUS)
  2. Develop and maintain databases and data systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  3. Use statistical techniques to interpret data and generate meaningful insights

Reporting and visualisation

  1. Create and maintain regular sales reports and dashboards for the Sales Director to use for MPR QBR YBR
  2. Visually effective data presentations, Tableau, Power BI
  3. Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed to support decision making

Trend analysis and Forecasting

  1. Identify sales trends, patterns and anomalies to provide actionable recommendations (by area/region)
  2. Assist in sales forecasting by providing data driven insights
  3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against sales targets
  4. Collection of MI from Field management into prioritised order, create insights to support SD to present back to Brand through lens of innovation

Collaboration and Innovation

  1. Work closely with the sales team to understand their data needs and provide support
  2. Communicate with the IT Ops to understand programs and digestion of data for Ops

Process improvements

  1. Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and analysis processes
  2. Implement best practices for data management analysis
  3. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related field
  • Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in the telecoms sector
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, SQL, R or Python-Statistical Programming)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools and software (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics (desired)
  • Experience supporting applications. ITIL, project management and other professional certifications would be advantageous. GDPR and Data Compliance responsibility 
  • Experience in providing robust reporting from multiple sources
  • Experience of Database management and SQL programming skills including proficiency in data queries and exposure to SQL database maintenance practices
  • Experience in the development of MS SharePoint sites and applications
  • Strong software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to see issues through to resolution
  • Proven ability to suggest and implement new processes and procedures
